Java/JS Web UI Developer
Job Description
We are currently seeking an intelligent, sophisticated Web developer with 3+ years experience in the following skills:
• Solid understanding of Web technologies, including DHTML, CSS, Java Script, AJAX, DWR, Java Servlets, JSP.
-Experience with DWR, EXT JS and Adobe Flash a big plus.
• Java programming with Core Java, EJB, JDBC and Sybase/SQL in a multi-server environment
• experience with high transaction rate applications
• strong communication skills, including technical writing (comfortable talking to technical and nontechnical customers)
• supporting live, production systems
• able to coordinate several projects at once
Some of the other technologies used at TMC include: XML, cvs, ant, IDEA, tomcat, WebLogic, Perl, and PHP. Financial industry experience is preferred.

Senior Java Developer
Job Description
For this position we are seeking a senior Java developer with SOLID experience in the following skills:
• BEA WebLogic application server
• Java programming with J2EE, EJBs, and Core Java in a multi-server environment
• experience with high transaction rate applications
• strong skills with highly threaded applications and communicating between threads
• strong communication skills, including technical writing (comfortable talking to technical and nontechnical customers)
• JDBC and SQL
• experience with JMS, MDBs, SOAP, web services, and realtime data feeds
• user-friendly GUI design, JSP, AJAX
• mentoring junior developers
• supporting live, production systems
• able to coordinate several projects at once
Quality Assurance Automation Specialist
This position requires an individual who is a self-motivated, methodical, and quality oriented. The Sr. QA Automation Specialist will be part of a small but high producing technology group responsible for a Web based trading application as well as various other trading applications and systems.
The QA Automation Specialist will work independently as well as within the QA and Technology teams to achieve automation goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years in writing detailed test scripts and automation utilizing industry leading test automation tools, specifically tools such as QTP and LoadRunner
- Proven technical competence in UnixLinux and Windows platforms
- 5+ years in structured testing that includes Black Box and UAT
- 4+ years with a Web based trading system, preferably Fixed Income
- 5+ years experience with automated general Web testing tools
- Responsible for maintaining QA/Test environments and assist in build / deploy activities
- Proficiency with test management tools such as Bugzilla and Quality Center
- Ability to work independently and balance workload
- Ability to cope with change and shifting in project priorities while ensuring quality
- Ability to interact effectively with various groups in technology and business
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent verbal and written skills
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, PHP, and Perl a strong plus
- Working knowledge of Sybase
- Experience with a trading platform, preferably Fixed Income
